RESOLUTION 30-2026  

OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH BRISTOL. ONTARIO COUNTY, NEW YORK, APPOINTING ASSESSOR PURSANT TO REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW 310 

 RESOLUTION 30-2026 APPOINTING ANN BUCK ASSESSOR  

TO FULFILL REMAINEDR OF 6-YEAR TERM 

 WHEREAS Real Property Tax Law 310 establishes that the appointed assessor of a municipality shall serve a six-year term, beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending September 30 of the sixth year thereafter; and 

 WHEREAS the Town Board of South Bristol is required to appoint an assessor to fulfill these duties in accordance with New York State Law; and 

 WHEREAS the Town Board of South Bristol, Ontario County, has determined that Ann Buck is duly qualified to serve as Assessor for the Town of South Bristol; 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of South Bristol, County of Ontario, does hereby appoint Ann Buck as Assessor for the Town of South Bristol to fulfill the remainder of a six-year term commencing on March 1, 2026, and expiring September 30, 2031, in accordance with the provisions of Real Property Tax Lawe 310, and 

 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution shall be provided to the Ontario County Director of Real Property Tax Services, the Appointed Assessor, and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance – Office of Real Property Tax Services.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Town of South Bristol Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on the following application:

2026-0011 for property owned by FCH House Associates LLC located at 5737A Seneca Point Road, tax map 178.07-1-18.100. The applicant/property owners are requesting variances to demo an existing 472 square foot deck to construct a 685 square foot deck:

  1. 19.7% variance with a 39.7% total lot coverage where 20% is maximum allowed per town code.
  2. 18.8-foot variance with a 6.2-foot side setback from the closest edge of stream where 25 feet is minimum allowed per town code.

Said hearing will take place on the 28th day of October 2026 beginning at 6:30 pm at the South Bristol Town Hall, 6500 West Gannett Hill Road, Naples, NY 14512.

The application is located on the town website under important documents and notices / board meeting documents.

Interested parties may provide written comments, appear in-person or Zoom.
